A mall developer’s latest example of out-of-the-box thinking will turn a former Polaris Fashion Place bar into a co-working space.

But it will keep that bar.

Columbus-based Washington Prime Group and Worthington-based COhatch will redevelop The Pub space in the mall’s lifestyle center into COhatch The Pub, which will double as a co-working space during the day and a craft beer bar and entertainment venue at night. It is expected to be open this winter.
