COhatch Carmel & Downtown Indy Are Now Open!

On Thursday, September 29th and October 6th, COhatch opened its two newest Indianapolis locations, Carmel and Downtown! COhatch members, staff, and the local community were in attendance at each event to celebrate the expansion of COhatch in the Indianapolis area. Two Indianapolis grand openings equals twice the fun!

At nearly 8,000 square feet, COhatch Downtown is located near City Centre and features 21 private offices, 5 meeting rooms, coworking space, a speakeasy, and a North High Brewing restaurant! In addition to coworking seats, COhatch Carmel is home to a 20+ person event space, 30 private offices, 6 meeting rooms, and is over 11,300 square feet!

COhatch Downtown’s ribbon cutting featured speeches from COhatch GIVE Scholars, Brandon Street and Lillian Barkes from Listen To Our Future. Judith Thomas, Deputy Mayor of Neighborhood Engagement, and the Indianapolis Chamber were also present and participated in the ribbon cutting! Following the ribbon cutting, guests enjoyed live music from Ben Watson, a photo booth, and free drinks and delicious pizza from North High Brewing!

During COhatch Carmel’s ribbon cutting, speakers included GIVE Scholar Raymond Haggard from CRU and Ranj Puthran, Board Chair from OneZone. Dan McFeely from the City of Carmel Community Relations & Economic Development was also in attendance to represent the City of Carmel. The grand opening saw over 300 guests who enjoyed food provided by Condodo, music by DJ Bandcamp, a 360 photo booth, and face painting for the kiddos!
