With 5 COhatch locations already in Cincinnati, Covington takes COhatch into Kentucky for the first time

COVINGTON, KENTUCKY, July 17, 2024COhatch, an innovative community and shared workspace company based out of Columbus, Ohio, is bringing their first Kentucky location to Covington. This location, which has been long-awaited, is located at 407 W 6th St. off Main Street in what was once the John R. Green Company building.

Matt Davis, COhatch’s CEO and co-founder, says, “Covington has always been on our list of where we want to create a COhatch. We love the area and many of our current members have wanted a location here for a long time. We finally found the right building that fits the needs for a COhatch that embodies everything we want out of our community spaces: a renovation that makes the building beautiful again for all to enjoy while also being accessible and walkable to many local businesses and Goebel Park. This area really is the whole package we look for when creating a COhatch.”

With 12,691 square feet to utilize, this COhatch location will include three floors of mixed-use space including coworking space, 5 meeting rooms, 37 private offices, and event space.

“The Covington community is so lively and engaged,” Megan Dotzauer, who is the Market Leader for COhatch in Cincinnati, said. “We’re excited to be a part of the Main Street community and bring more people together in our space. This building is another example of restoration that will re-energize the neighborhood and allow more people to work, meet, and live where they already are every day.”

Currently, the building is already under construction and the COhatch team estimates that the project will be completed by late 2024 or early 2025. With this additional location and the recent opening of their Over-The-Rhine location, the Cincinnati-Covington area will now have 6 locations for the community to access. Members at the Covington location will also have access to all other COhatch locations across the country.

While COhatch communities have always been dedicated to doing more good in new cities, the COhatch in Covington will follow the same suit with opportunities to create more accessibility and connection for those who could utilize their community space to drive their missions forward. In the next few months, COhatch Covington will be looking for local startups and nonprofits to apply for scholarships to the location, giving those who need access to connect, collaborate, and innovate together inside the space the option to be a part of the community. For those interested in applying for scholarships, you can reach out to hello@cohatch.com to learn more about the program and get updates on when you can apply as COhatch gets closer to opening their doors in Covington.

For those interested in offices or coworking memberships at this location, you can email megan@cohatch.com to book a hard hat tour or to reserve an office before opening.
