COhatch releases designs for its fifth Cincinnati location
COLUMBUS, OHIO, February 7, 2023 – COhatch, a company committed to providing communities with intentional and original spaces to work, collaborate, innovate and socialize, is set to expand its Cincinnati market with the addition of COhatch Over-the-Rhine (OTR) in fall 2023.
The site, located at 132 Elder Street, was formerly the area’s Leader Building and will prominently occupy the Findlay Market. COhatch OTR will feature 19,764 square feet of coworking, 28 offices, an executive suite on the 4th floor home to 2 additional offices, a 1,200 square foot event space, a rooftop patio, 6 meeting rooms, a bar that can be used in conjunction with the event space and more.
“Restoring historic buildings has always been a key part of what we do at COhatch,” said Matt Davis, co-founder and CEO of COhatch. “The Leader Furniture building has been a staple of the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood since it was built in the 1800s, so it’s important to us and the community that we continue to honor the legacy of what it was to the neighborhood. By breathing new life into the building, the community can find new ways to take advantage of the space to work, meet, and live.”
Over-the-Rhine is one of the largest, most intact urban historic districts in the country. Community is an integral part of OTR as the neighborhood is home to several popular small businesses including bars, restaurants, and shops. COhatch OTR will be joining the company’s four established Cincinnati locations in Hyde Park, Kenwood, Mason and Milford. Each site is equipped with coworking and private office space, meeting venues and member amenities.
“What’s special about our sites is that they can be used to strengthen connections both professionally and personally,” said Megan Dotzauer, Cincinnati Market Leader. “With COhatch Over-the-Rhine, we have a great opportunity to utilize the Findlay Market as a space for community members to work, meet and live close to home. Members can gather in our large event space for everything from corporate meetings, to birthday parties, reunions and more.”
COhatch OTR has begun the membership process for private offices. For those interested in learning more, contact Megan Dotzauer at megan@cohatch.com.
Over-the-Rhine members will be able to use the company’s Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Springfield, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Tampa Bay, Florida locations, as well as its future locations in Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte, North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and Nashville, Tennessee. COhatch intends to have 10-12 locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, and plans on opening a total of 500 locations in 50 cities across the U.S. by 2032.
